About Crossroads: Stories of the Rural South
Written by Montress Greene, stories in Crossroads are a few chosen from a collection of many. They are meant to introduce younger readers to a time long past, and trigger memories in the older generations. Everyone has a wealth of stories, and maybe someone will be inspired to write them.

Greene's goal is to entertain her readers and share memories from some 80 years ago. The stories are an honest account of events as Greene remembers them, and they accurately depict life at the time.

Crossroads was written with love for the time, place, and people mentioned in the stories. Greene has taken the time to write something for readers of all ages to enjoy.
